1. Rick’s will not release any information collected on this site to any
third parties.

2. Information is collected from customers via our product order form. Contact information including the customer's name, billing address, shipping address, e-mail, and phone number are collected. Financial information such as the customer's credit card number and expiration date are also collected via this web site. This information is used for billing and shipping purposes for customer orders. If there is a problem with a customer's order, this information is used to contact the customer to resolve the dilemma.

3. Cookies are pieces of data stored on a customer's computer. Rick’s uses cookies to store and retrieve a customer's contact and shipping information. This creates convenience for the customer by automatically filling in the shipping and contact information on the order form page. The cookie terminates one year from the customer's most recent order.

4. Rick’s shopping system uses a "session ID" to manage each shoppers order. The session ID is a "non-persistent" cookie meaning that it is never saved to the customer's computer hard drive but is only cached in the browsers memory for twenty minutes or until the browser is closed. To complete a customer's shopping process their browser must be set to accept the session ID. This will enable Rick’s to accurately track and record a customer's order.

5. Rick’s uses every precaution to protect customer contact and financial data. Customer information is protected online and off-line. Our order form uses the SSL technology, the best encryption software available. While on a secure page, such as the Rick’s order form page, the lock icon on the bottom of Internet browsers becomes locked instead of unlocked. An unlocked icon normally appears when a user is just surfing the Internet. The same SSL encryption technology, plus successfully entering a secure Internet location, must be done before authorized personnel can obtain customer data.

Off-line, Rick’s takes every precaution to protect customer information. Only select personnel have the authority to view customer information. Once the order has been successfully processed, Rick’s keeps any customer information in a secure location.
